Rosa Lemmon Tomlin of Hazel Green went to be with the Lord on Wednesday,  She was 98.  Mrs. Tomlin was born and raised in Rover, Tennessee.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and follower of
Christ.  She dearly loved all her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Carl & Julianne Josephine Stem Lemmon; her husband, James Howard Tomlin Sr; her son, James Howard Tomlin Jr; her grandson, Bruce Holland Bentley; her great-granddaughter, Savannah Lynn Perry; her son-in-law, Frank Bentley; her daughter-in-law, Lynn Tomlin.

Surviving family members include her children:  Gloria Jean Bentley, Joan Gail West (Harrison), Jerry Haven Tomlin Sr. (Jami), Jack Edward Tomlin Sr. (Sherri), Jill Charmaine Adams, Joy Elizabeth McNeal, Julianne Locker (David);  She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren with one on the way and a host of other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Bobby Bentley officiating.  Burial will then follow in Charity Cemetery.

Mrs. Tomlin will be remembered for her kind heart and for her love for her Savior, her family and friends.  She always greeted everyone with the special words, “Jesus Loves You.”  She would want everyone to know and remember that today.
