Rosa Ann Kilburn Odle – Obituary

Rosa Ann Kilburn Odle, Waynesboro, TN, was born October 21, 1924 in Wayne Co., TN, the daughter of the late Perry Henry and Callie Ann Lee Kilburn. She married Luther McKinley Odle and preceded her in death November 2, 2009.

Mrs. Odle, a homemaker, was attended Highland Church of God and later Waynesboro Church of God. She baby sat many children over the years and loved sewing, crocheting and making crafts for family and friends and departed this life Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Waynesboro Health and Rehab at the age of 92 Years, 5 Months, 11 Days.

Survivors, sons, James Leon Odle (Sandy) of Westchester, IL, Jesse Franklin Odle of Waynesboro, TN, Paul Daniel Odle (Pat) of Lombard, IL; daughters, Thelma Jean Hastings (Bob) of Katy, TX, Patricia Ann Staggs (Dan) of Collinwood, TN; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Odle was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jeremy Lynn Stricklin; a sister, Lizzie Irene Griggs; brothers, Henry Edward, Amos Franklin, Albert Ned, Neil Alonzo, John Henry, Walter Newton Kilburn and Thomas Kilburn.

Services will be Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Tommy Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Copeland Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Monday, April 3, 2017 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
