Mr. Ronny Meals, age 73, passed away early Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in Lexington. He was born September 26, 1950 in Gibson County to the late Billy and Betty Walters Meals. He was retired from TDOT where he worked in road maintenance. He was a member of Center Ridge Methodist Church and served as Sunday School Superintendent. He enjoyed fishing, car racing, and jig saw puzzles.
Mr. Meals is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Kaye Wilson Meals; three daughters, Emily Sparks (Terry), Melissa Griffith, and Katie Meals; brother, Bobby Meals (Penny), two sisters, Brenda Lawrence (Patrick) and Pattie Hudgens (Mike); four grandchildren, Mekayla Grice (Mike), Hunter Kennedy (Sarah), Melanie Griffith, and Mayci Moore; one great grandchild, Abi Kennedy; and four step great grandchildren, Easton Grice, Anna Grice, Oakleigh Kennedy, and Silas Kennedy.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, September 6, 2024, at Center Ridge Church. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Center Ridge Church on Friday from 10 AM until time of service at 1 PM.
