Ronnie Womack, age 80, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Ronnie was born to the late Herbert and Annie Belle Womack on March 3, 1943. He is survived by his wife, Carol Womack; sons, Toby (Julie) Womack, William “Joey” Womack; daughter, Jamie Womack Hughey; chosen daughter, Terri Fronteira; grandchildren, Toby, Brooke, Erin, Lexi and Maddie; 6 great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Ronnie is preceded in death by his brothers, James Womack and Hershal Womack; sisters, Betty Womack and Margie Womack.
A visitation for Ronnie will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, Alabama 35901, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM with Bro. Neil Ford officiating.
Ronnie will be laid to rest in Cave Springs Cemetery, 3794 Duck Springs Road, Attalla, Alabama 35954. Pallbearers assisting Ronnie to his final resting place will include; Kenny Womack, Daniel Womack, Eric Womack, Mike Prosser, Dan Mitchell and Jeffery Brothers; honorary pallbearers, Thomas Brothers and David Mabrey.
