A Celebration of Life memorial service for Ronnie Michael Martin, 82 of Rienzi, MS is set for Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 2pm at Tate Baptist Church with Military Honors. Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 12pm-2pm at Tate Baptist Church. Bro. Tommy Leatherwood, Bro. Daniel Jones and Bro. Mickey Trammel will officiate the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Steen, Billy Carl Lipford, Stan Plaxico, Dennis Shirley, Richard Tenhet, Carl Weeden, Jack Stewart and Farrell Thomas . Born January 28, 1942 in Corinth, MS., Ronnie passed from this life on Monday, December 2, 2024 at his home in Rienzi. He was the retired owner of Martins Quickstop and a member of Tate Baptist Church. Ronnie was a U. S. Air Force Veteran. He loved his family and spending time with them. His hobbies included woodworking, sheep farming and coon hunting. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 22 years, Anita Kealy Martin; son, Michael Martin (Monica); step daughter, Erin Halley (Charles); 5 grandchildren, Caitlin Buchanan (Jonathon), Graceson Martin, Carlee Martin, Bennett Halley and Jackson Halley; 2 great grandchildren, Charlee Buchanan and Bentlee Buchanan; brother, L. C. Martin (Judy); numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and double first cousins, other relatives and a host of friends; He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Martin; his mother, Sophia Martin; brother, Herbert Martin; sisters, Frankie Guthrie, Judith Morrisson and Janice Patton and the mother of his son, Joan Martin.
