Ronnie Leroy Gamble – Obituary

gambleRonnie Leroy Gamble, 73, of Iuka, MS, died Friday, March 4, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Mr. Gamble was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was currently employed at the Tishomingo County Electric Power Association, and was formerly a math teacher in the Okolona School System. Ronnie enjoyed woodworking. He could also fix just about anything, and enjoyed working on and repairing things for his friends and family. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 5, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 6, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Benjamin Gray and Bro. Stanley Magill. Interment will follow in Mt. Joy Cemetery. Pallbearers include Chris Williams, Benny Murrah, Todd Davis, R. C. Bolton, Nathan Davis, and Danny Davis. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by a sister, Gaye Gamble of Mantachie; his nieces and nephews, Becky Freeman, Dianne Wright, and Robert Brewer, all of Burnsville, Donna Burger of Tampa, FL, Ralph Brewer of Portland, OR, and Amanda Williams of Mantachie; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil L. and Lela Cunningham Gamble; a sister, Bennie Joe Gamble Brewer; and a nephew, Danny Aldridge. Memorials may be made to New Prospect Baptist Church
