Ronnie LaFevers, age 65 of Huntland, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. A native of Franklin County, he was born on July 26, 1957, to the late Levoyd and Joannah (Campbell) LaFevers. He was a 1975 graduate of Huntland High School, where he played football. Before his retirement, Ronnie had been employed at Tepro and Dacco. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed playing Church League softball, dirt track racing, and cheering for the University of Tennessee Volunteers and the Tennessee Titans. But most of all, Ronnie loved the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. A simple man, his family and friends will remember his strong will and wonderful sense of humor. Ronnie is survived by his loving children, Tonya (Gary) Christian, and Junior (Kattie) LaFevers; grandchildren, Gracelyn Dodson, Joshua Dodson, Braelyn Christian, Savannah LaFevers, Aaron LaFevers, Ashley Christian, Autumn Christian, and Summer Christian; siblings, Michael (Katherine) LaFevers, Mia Vandiver, Darryl LaFevers, Kim (Jason) Riley, and Randy (Kelley) Allen; nieces and nephews, Kami Riley, Jacey Riley, Tatum Riley, Chelsey Vandiver, and Jessica LaFevers; great-nephew, Kannon LaFevers; and blessed friend, John Renner. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 14, 2023, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Ricky Taylor and Bro. Jordan Atkisson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Joshua Dodson, Gary Christian, Randy Allen, Mike LaFevers, Darryl LaFevers, Doug Brewer, Jason Riley, Tatum Riley, and Kannon LaFevers serving as pallbearers.
