Ronnie Dale Burton, age 71 of Jasper passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023 at his residence.
Ronnie was the co-owner of Glenn’s Feed and Seed for many years. He finished his career with the Walker County Courthouse. He was an avid hunter and fisherman from the time he was a little boy until his death. He was a devoted husband for almost 50 years, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He could be found following his grandkids and great grandkids to any ballfield or court around the county. He was a member of Glory Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Richard Aaron, Adam Brewer and Randy Stracner will officiate.
Mr. Burton was preceded in death by his Son-Matt Burton; Parents-Albert “Red” Burton and Alma Lee Burton; Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law-Carlos and Carlon Allred.
He is survived by his Wife-Annette Burton; Daughter-Christy McLemore (Keith); Brother-Kenneth Burton; Granddaughter-Hanna Miller (Christian); Grandson-Jaxson McLemore; Great Grandchildren-Evie Claire and Cayden Miller.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his honor to Glory Baptist Church-Operation Christmas Child.
