Rondel Delane Trapp, age 72, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015.
The visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at Akins Funeral Home. The 11 a.m. funeral service will be Friday, Dec. 10, 2015, at Pleasant Hill FCM Church with Brother Darryl Whitehead and Brother David Phillips officiating. He will lie-in-state from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in East Franklin Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by parents, Silvie and Lillie Mae Trapp; daughter, Susan Higginbotham; and grandson, Noah Lane Trapp.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Nell Trapp; children, Charles Bradley Trapp and wife, Leann Parrish Trapp, and Ellen Trapp; siblings, Paulette Glaze and husband, Wayne, Sandra Kimbrough and husband, Kenneth, and Pam Baker and husband, Rickie; and grandchildren, Luke Higginbotham, Moises Higginbotham, PJ Higginbotham and Daylee Grace Trapp.
He was a member of Pleasant Hill FCM Church and a deacon.
Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
