Rev. Ronald “Ron” David Reynolds, age 68, of Leesburg, AL went to be with the Lord Monday July 8, 2024.A celebration of life will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday July 15, 2024 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wendall Dutton and Rev. Keith Wren officiating.
Rev. Reynolds pastored churches for 40 years and was currently serving as pastor at Sallie Howard Chapel, where he served for the last sixteen years. He was a member of the Dekalb Baptist Association and Missions. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
Preceding him in death was his parents, Ernest Reynolds and Gladys McFry Reynolds.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 34 years, Mrs. Frances Reynolds; sons, Wayne (Christina) Hammonds, Todd (Karen) Hammonds and Byram (Stacie) Hammonds; grandchildren, Michael (Kayla) Hammonds, Jr., Eoin (Morgan) Hammonds, Gracie Foster, Branson Foster, Zoe Guthrie, Greer Guthrie, 7 great grandchildren, sister, Debbie Reynolds, brother, Donald (Dee Dee) Reynolds and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Staff at Clearview Cancer Center, Huntsville, AL for your kindness and prayers, Dr. Phillip McGee and Sarah.
There will be no visitation.
