Ronald Ray “Buzzy” Collins

Ronald Ray “Buzzy” Collins of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away on Thursday.  He was 68.

Mr. Collins was a trader at heart and he loved buying and selling any treasure he could find including livestock, vehicles, equipment, and things others may have considered junk.  He loved rodeos, horses, team roping and catching cows for the public.  He also loved talking with his friends, and treasured time with his family – especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Ray Collins and Norene Collins Rolin;  his step-father, Bobby Rolin; his uncle, Roma Smith; He is also preceded in death by several Smith cousins.

Surviving family members include his wife of 50 years, Glenda Collins; his daughter, Candy Collins Singleton (Mike Royster);  His daughter, Wendy Ray Collins Hall (Jason Hall); his grandchildren:  Collin Ray (Catlin) Singleton, Cierra Hall, and Carson Hall;  his great-granddaughter, Caroline Singleton.  His cousins who were like siblings: Patsy Stanford, Jeff Smith, and Robin Hood.  He is also survived by numerous other friends and loved ones including:

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4pm until 7pm at True Grit Cowboy Church in Ardmore.   Funeral services will be Sunday at 2pm at the church with Brother Mike Robertson and Brother Vicente Cano Jr. officiating.   Burial will follow the service and will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
