Ronald Michael Russell, 65, of Florence, passed away Monday June 3, 2013 after a lengthy illness.
The memorial service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Creekside Church with Charles Frederick officiating. A time of visitation for family and friends will follow the service.
Ron was a 1965 graduate of Coffee High School and was a hard worker. He had been a Regional Manager for Pic-N-Pay Shoes and had worked for Action Vans where he designed interiors.
He is survived by his wife Carol Russell; son Kyle Parrish (Kerry) of Florence; sister Paula Elkins (Steve) of Florence; and seven grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for the excellent care Ron received over the years.
