Ronald Lee “Ron” Sanford, 65 of Warrior, passed away Wednesday April 12, 23 at his residence.
He was General Manager at Forestwood Farms for 17 years. He loved Alabama football, Wrestling, NASCAR and Alabama Softball. For many years, he was a member of the Bagley Fire Department. He was a Softball and Baseball scorekeeper.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey Sanford.
Survivors include his wife, Millie Parsons Sanford; son, Adam Sanford (Erin); daughter, Alesha Sanford Bailey (Justin); grandchildren, Ella and Adelynn Sanford and Mason and Madeline Bailey; his mother, Alice Myers Putman; sister, Mary Elizabeth Banks (James); a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 15, 23 at 12:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Minister Barry Bennett will officiate. Burial will follow at McCormack Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday, from 11 am-12 pm.
