Mr. Ronald Lee Gassaway, 49, died Saturday, November 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Red Bay, AL and worked as a greeter. He attended church in North Carolina.
Services will be Wednesday, November 10, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Tony Brown officiating. Burial will be in Dempsey Cemetery, Russellville, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by five sisters- Melba Bohannon, Mayburs McKinney (Dony), Joann Gassaway, Phyllis Gassaway and Lisa Whitfield (Michael); three brothers – Horace Gassaway (Sandra), Earl Gassaway and David Gassaway and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Faye Hughes Gassaway, five brothers, Thomas, Billy, Gerald, Glenn and Danny Gassaway and one sister, Christine Barksdale.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
