Glen Plunk Profile PhotoRonald Glen Plunk (88) of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, met his Lord and Savior face to face on November 28, 2023. Glen, as he was known to all that knew and loved him, was born on June 28, 1935 to Oscar Lafayette Plunk and Nellie Yarbrough Plunk in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. Glen is survived by his precious wife of 67 years, Ima Jo Henry Plunk of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, and his beloved son Ricky Plunk, and his wife Claire Plunk of Spring, Texas. His three beautiful grandchildren, Allison Claire Plunk of Spring, Texas, Luke David Plunk of College Station, Texas and Summer Arwen Plunk of San Marcos, Texas. One sister, Billie Smith of Clovis, California and one brother, Rodrick Paul Plunk and wife Sherrill of Bethel Springs, Tennessee. Several beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Lafayette and Nellie Yarbrough Plunk. Siblings – Camilla Felker, Marion Murray and Imogene Johnson, Lavern Plunk and Lafayette Plunk. Glen served in the Army National Guard from 1953-1962 and retired as a Sergeant. He was also retired from Pickwick Electric Cooperative. In 1982, he and his son, organized The Master’s Quartet and they traveled and sang until 2004. If he wasn’t singing, Glen was enjoying spending time with his tractors around the farm. Glen was an Ordained Deacon at First Baptist Church, Finger, TN. He loved telling folks about what God meant to him. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Henry, David Plunk, Rex Plunk, Joey Lambert, Fred Felker, Jason Henry and Lane Henry.
