Funeral services for Ronald Fletcher Hardiman age 76 of Hazel Green will be conducted Saturday 3 PM at Murphy Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Mike McFarlen officiating and burial will follow in the Valhalla Cemetery. Mr. Hardiman passed away July 3rd 2023 at Huntsville Hospital after a long battle with leukemia. Ronnie was born September 24, 1946 to Parents, Guy Calvin Hardiman and Sarah Curtis Hardiman in Limestone County, Alabama. Ronnie was a veteran of the Alabama National Guard for six years and worked thirty years at Huntsville Utilities. In 1966, Ronnie met and married Edna and they had two children, Ronald Fletcher Hardiman Jr. and Jennifer Hardiman Prince. Ronnie was a devoted member of Murphy Hill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, adult men Sunday school teacher, worked the building and grounds and served as a trustee. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, son and daughter.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Edna, granddaughter, Candace Crawford (Nathan), grandsons, Josh Prince, Conner Fogg (Kalye) and Chandler Fogg (Lilly). He is also survived by three great grandsons, Jace and Elias Crawford and Wyatt Fogg and one great granddaughter, Molly Fogg.
Visitation will be Saturday July 8, 2023 1-3 PM at Murphy Hill Baptist Church
