Ronald Eugene Gurganus, age 72 of Cordova, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Dustin Murray will officiate.
Mr. Gurganus was preceded in death by his Father-Austin Gurganus; Mother-Mary Sue Gurganus; Brother-Steven Gurganus; Grandparents-Paul and Blanche Gurganus, Lily and Arvil Foster.
He is survived by his Wife-Denise Gurganus of Cordova; Daughter-Elizabeth Gurganus Dawkins of Oakman; Sons-Paul Gurganus of Cordova and Matthew Gurganus of Savannah, GA; Brothers-Ricky Gurganus of Cordova and Brent Gurganus of Carbon Hill; 9 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Paul Gurganus, Matthew Gurganus, Shannon Dawkins, Hunter Dawkins, Dylan Gibson, Davis Dutton, Nelson Gurganus and Austin Gurganus.
