Memorial Services for Mr. Ronald E. Whited, age 54 of Millerville, will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland at 4:00 P.M. with Bro. John Luckie officiating.
Mr. Whited passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at the VA Hospital in Birmingham. Mr. Whited was born in Talladega, attended Millerville Middle school and has been a Clay County Resident all his life. As a boy he milked cows and loaded Hay while working on the farm. He went into the military and served in the U.S. Army during the first Desert Storm. When he returned, he entered into GMC classes and became an Auto Technician and Mechanic. He worked at Cooper Chevrolet for 20 years. Mr. Whited loved to hunt, watch Alabama Football, and drive down dirt roads. He and his wife raised pigs, horses and chickens on their farm as well. He was a protective, caring, and tendered heart man.
Mr. Whited is survived by his wife, Lori Whited of Gadsden; his children: Robby Whited of Lineville, Tristen Quesenberry of Sylacauga, Enzia Hudson of Jacksonville, Katie and Stefani Schewanick, both of Gadsden; one grandson, Shilo Whited; his mother, Lorene Monroe of Millerville; five sisters: Donna East of Millerville, Rhonda Sue Campbell (Jerry) of Sylacauga, Betty Ann Strickland, Lynn Williams (Jeremy), both of Millerville, and Loretta Campbell (Jamey) of Ashland; two brothers: Kenneth Whited of Lineville and Daniel Whited (Christy) of Ashland; his brother-in-law, Chuck Steele (Paula) of Wisconsin, plus many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Eulus Whited; and his niece, Miranda Crawford.
His family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 3:00 P.M. until service time at 4:00 P.M.
