Duane Butler, 58, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. He was born in Corinth, MS on September 7, 1959 to Leland T. Butler and Paulette Dunlap. Duane will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 11 AM till service time, Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Duane’s life will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Scotty Young. Interment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joe Spencer, Keith Falgout, Rodney Butler, Richie Butler, Brett Morgan and Chris Dunlap. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chester Patrick, Charlie Maxwell, Nathan Rhodes and Larry White. Those left to honor Duane’s memory include his sons: Rodney Butler of Corinth, MS and Richie Butler and wife Kimberly of Iuka, MS; his grandchildren: Addison Butler, Chloe Butler, Adrianna Butler, Ashlyn Butler, and Rhett Butler; his mother: Paulette Dunlap of Hernando, MS; his step-mother: Linda Butler of Iuka, MS; his brothers: James Butler and wife Shelaine of Iuka, MS, Tommy Butler and wife Susan of Evans, GA, and Chris Dunlap of Senatobia, MS; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Leland T. Butler; his paternal grandparents: James T. & Ora Mae Butler; his maternal grandparents: William Mancel “Big Daddy” and Minnie Lee Sanders and daughter-in-law, Jorja Butler.
