Roland Clark Henderson, 90, of Ripley passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at his residence.  Visitation will begin at 12 PM Sunday at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley with funeral services to follow at 2 PM.  Interment will be in Ripley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Henderson was a retired Lauderdale County Road Commissioner and farmer.

The widower of Peggy Dew Henderson and Betty McWilliams Thum Henderson, he is survived by a daughter Beth Ables (Bobby) of Ripley; a son David Henderson (Gail) of Ripley; 4 grandchildren Emmie Howard, Paige Biglane (Barr), Dan Henderson (Ashlee), and Kristen Mooney (Donald Wayne); 3 great-grandchildren Ward Biglane, Ben Biglane, and Roland Ridge Henderson; 2 step-children Susie Taylor and Tom Thum; and 2 step-grandchildren Finis Ray and Fletcher Ray.
