Roger Williams was born January 19, 1950 in Corinth, MS the son of Thelma Lambert Williams Tucker and the late Wayne Alden Williams.
Mr. Williams graduated from University of Tennessee at Martin, he taught vocational and agriculture classes for many years at Bellevue High School in Davidson County, TN. His love of agriculture extended beyond the classroom – he loved gardening and working in his yard. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 14 years, he left the guard with the rank of Captain.
He was a good hearted man who loved his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Williams departed this life on November 17, 2020 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 9 Months, 29 Days. He is survived by mother, Thelma Tucker of Corinth, MS; a daughter, Amanda Crosson and husband Richard of Smyrna, TN; a son, Roger Williams Jr. of Michie, TN; two grandchildren, Christy Fortune of Murfreesboro, TN, Matthew Fortune of Michie, TN; a sister, Laquita Thomson of Henderson, TN; two nephews, Alexander Thomson of Newnan, GA and Ian Thomson and wife Anna of Alpharetta, GA.
