Roger Stephen Wells, age 67, of Fort Payne, passed away August 10, 2024 surrounded by family. Mr. Wells was born in Gadsden, Alabama on April 10, 1957 to John L. and Renelda Smith Wells. He was a brick mason by trade and was employed by Ashley Masonry. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:00am Tuesday, August 13th, at Walkers Chapel Cemetery with Brother Ronnie Bevel officiating.
Mr. Wells is survived by his daughter, Brittany Wells and her sister Destiny Killian; brothers Larry Wells (Vickie) and Johnny Wells; sister, Debra Ferguson (Allen); step-brother, Scott Loring (Gay); step-sister, Lisa Baker (Ray); grandchildren, Karma Wells, Jaden Giamanco, Kinsley Wells, and Asher Pate; uncle, Tommy Smith; and aunts, Margie Lyons and Carolyn Smith along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Edward Loring.
