Roger Prouty, age 82, passed away on August 21, 2019 at his residence in Lebanon TN. The Military Service is 1 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Wilson County Veterans Plaza and Museum (304 E. Main St., Lebanon TN, 615.444.2460). The Memorial Service is 1 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Lima Legion in West Bloomfield NY.
Mr. Prouty served in the United States Army and was a truck driver in civilian life. He loved gardening, woodworking, canning, and feeding his wild birds. He is survived by wife of 38 years, Joan Lloyd Prouty; children: Christina (Allen) Estey, Roger Paul (Sharon) Prouty, Traci (Scott) Lewis, Robert Foster, and Tammy (Michael) Butler; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings: John (Dorothy) Prouty, Frank (Linda) Prouty, Dean (Elaine) Prouty, and Diane Blanc; and beloved granddog: Blaze.
