Mr. Roger Lynn Mann, age 71, of Arab, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. He was a lifetime resident of Arab.
Mr. Mann was born on July 18, 1950, in Marshall County, Alabama to John L. Mann and Wanda Holloway Mann. Mr. Mann served in the U.S. Army and the Alabama Nation Guards and was a Salesman for Clayton Chevrolet until his retirement. He attended the New Canaan Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, taking care of the farm, watching Alabama football, and loved going to Talladega to watch NASCAR racing.
Mr. Mann leaves behind his wife, Catherine “Catie” Borden Mann; son, Jason L. Mann (Savannah); step daughter, Donna Wallace (fiancé Anthony Allen), sisters, Sandra Adams, Susan Kaiser, Delilah Morris; grandchildren, Elijah Mann, Emrie Mann, Brittany Wallace, Ben Wallace, Nathaniel King; great grandchildren, Jacob King, Amelia Wallace, Brylee Parmer, Summer Wallace, Sylas Wallace.
Mr. Mann is preceded in death by his parents, John and Wanda Mann; brothers, John L Mann Jr., Jimmy Mann.
A visitation will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with a Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Matt Jordan officiating the service. Interment will follow at the New Canaan Cemetery.
Pallbearers escorting Mr. Mann are Shaun Maze, Ray Hawkins, Tommy Milner, Blan Milner, Gary Hemphill and Shannon Mann. Honorary Pallbearers are James Kaiser, Nick Kaiser, and Stan Bradley.
