Roger Hubert Gandy, age 69, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center
Roger was a member of First Baptist Church of Littleville. He loved his motorcycle, was a devoted Alabama fan, and loved his cat Mya. More than anything, he loved his wife, his children, and especially his grandchildren. Roger was a good man and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 48 years; Freda Gandy; children, Tim Fretwell (Julie), Jeff Fretwell (Elaine), Will Smith (Cecillia); grandchildren, Jordan Fretwell, Austin Fretwell, Chance Fretwell, Cade Fretwell, Chloe Smith, Caylee Smith, Kohen Smith; Chase Fretwell (Macy) great-grandchild soon to arrive , Blakelyn Marie Fretwell brothers, Doyle Gandy, Ricky Gandy; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Edward & Francis Jeanette (Saint) Gandy and brother, Donald Gandy, sister-in-law Barbara Gandy.
A memorial service will be announced.
