Mr. Roger Dale Porter, are 66, of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Fayette Medical Center-DCH.
Mr. Porter was born August 9, 1957, in Columbus, MS, to the late James Clinton Porter and Earthie Lampkins Porter. He worked in the kitchen at Generations of Vernon.
There will be a graveside service Friday, December 8, at 11:00 AM, at Lampkins Cemetery, with Bro. Terry McAdams officiating.
Survivors include his sister, Glenda (Randy) Hegwood, of Columbus, MS; two nieces, Crystal and Kelliy Hegwood, both of Columbus, MS; and three great-nieces and nephews, Holland Gandy, Houston Gandy, and Kastian Bush.
