Roger “Dale” Kennedy, age 79, of Winfield, AL, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 3:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Sizemore Memorial Cemetery. Bro. Richard Kendrick to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.

Dale was born on January 12, 1944 in Beaverton, AL to the late Lesley Kennedy and the late Leoma Guin Kennedy. He was a graduate of Sulligent High School. Roger was a vested employee with John Deere in Moline, Illinois and finally retired after a long career. He loved spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed going fishing and hunting. Dale was a member of Riverview Freewill Baptist Church in Bettendorf, Iowa.
