Roger Dale Griffin Profile Photo Roger Dale Griffin was born July 8, 1946 in Pemiscot County, MO, the son of the late Homer Griffin and Edith Jean Clayton Griffin.

Roger was united in marriage to Patricia McKee on October 31, 1975. He was a member of the Meeks Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He was a Woodmen Life chapter 78 member and president for several years. He retired after 36 years as a supervisor 3 from Western State in Bolivar, TN. Roger also worked as a Cook over the years for many of the local restaurants and Lynnfield Place for 3 years. He was a wonderful cook and had a passion for making food taste the best. He was a man that liked to stay busy. When he wasn’t cooking Roger would be in his garden, hunting or fishing. Most important to Roger was God and his family.

Mr. Griffin departed this life on March 3, 2023 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 7 Months, 23 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Griffin; his children: Brian Griffin and girlfriend Bianca, Shane Griffin and wife Megan all of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Donna Garrison of Savannah, TN; a sister, Kay Sanders and husband Doug of Corinth, MS; six grandchildren: Jody Griffin, Brantley Griffin, Cody Garrison, Brianna Griffin, Hunter Griffin, Hadley Griffin; brother from a another mother, Larry Harris; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Griffin Carroll and Imogene Hunter; three brothers: Jack Griffin, Larry Griffin, and L. J. Griffin.
