Mr. Roger Dale Gibson, age 27, of Sumiton passed away February 27, 2021. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Friday, March 5, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Brasfield Cemetery. Bro. Bruce Levan will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is preceded in death by his brother, T.C. Clifton; grandfather, Roger Dale Gibson; uncles, Larry Gibson, Harold “Hank” Gibson and Jimmy Gibson; aunt, Betty Eustice; and grandmother, Barbara Gibson.
He is survived by his parents, Sharon and Jimmy David of Sumiton; adopted parents, Jennifer and Thomas Clifton of Alexandria; sons, Bentley Ray Reeves and unborn baby Gibson of Empire and Elijah Goodwin of Oneonta; fiancé, Candace Reeves of Empire; brothers, James Darrell Sprague III of Wyoming and Brent Clifton of Alexandria; uncles, Billy Dale Gibson (Betty Lynn) of Empire and Barry Gibson of Empire; cousins, Billy Wayne Gibson and family of Lynn, Barbara Gibson of Empire, Bobby Gibson of Empire and Amanda Cornelius of Dora; grandparents, Papa Bear and Mama Bear of Alexandria; sister-in-laws, Lauren Lovell of Empire, Hailey Lovell; brother-in-law, Braxton Stillwell of Sayre; grandfather-in-law, Jimmy Reeves of Empire; and a host of other family and friends.
