Roger Dale Garner, 67, of Florence, passed away on November 06, 2016 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. He retired as an Emergency Medical Technician.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park with Reggie Bruce officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Garner, Sr. and Annie Reed Garner; brothers, Frank Garner Jr. and Charles Garner ; sisters, Joann Shettles, Sue King, Alice Watts and Martha Ward.
Survivors include his sons, Jason Garner Sr. (Melissa) of Florence, and John Garner (Gina) of Illinois; brothers, Herbert Garner of Sheffield, and Sammy Garner of Belgreen, AL; sister, Janet Fain of Sheffield; grandchildren, Anna Garner of 29 Palms, CA, Mellissa Garner of Florence, Madison Garner of Killen, Elizabeth Garner, Putnam, CT, Kyla Garner of Bloomington, IL, Alexandra and Sebastian Garner of Florence, Katelyn Garner of Bloomington, IL and Jason Garner, Jr. of Florence.
Jason Garner, Sr. will serve as a pallbearer.
Anna and Mellissa Garner will serve as honorary pallbearers.
