Roger Dale Blankenship, 69 of Athens, Alabama, died Monday, March 1, 2021 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
There will be a 2pm Graveside Service Thursday at Lentzville Cemetery. No visitation planned.
Pallbearers will be David Blankenship, Michael Blankenship, Daren Blankenship, Troy Blankenship, Gary Bates and Derek Tennison.
Mr. Blankenship was born December 2, 1951 and he was a mechanic.
Survivors: Son: Marty Blankenship of Athens; Brothers: Hollis Blankenship of Elkmont, David Blankenship of Athens, Michael Blankenship of Lester, Daren Blankenship of Athens and Troy Blankenship of Anderson; Sisters: Faye Brackeen of Athens, Peggy Blakely of Athens, Barbara Tennison of Rogersville, Charlotte Haggermaker of Priceville and Shelia Bates of Athens; Several Nieces and Nephews.
