Roger D. Good, Sr., 55, of Athens, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Madison Hospital. He was a graduate of Springfield High School, Ohio and a member of First Union Baptist Church, Athens, where he was a proud Sunday school teacher.
Roger loved his family dearly and was especially fond of babysitting his grandchildren. A few of his hobbies were grilling, boating and talking on the phone.
A visitation will be Saturday, February 4th from 5 -6 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home with funeral service following in the chapel with Christopher Pirtle officiating. Burial will be Sunday at Womack Cemetery at 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be Roger Good, Jr., Alexander Good, Billy Ray Wallace, Jr., Wesley Paul Wallace, Ambro Lopez and Kevin Walters.
Mr. Good was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald & Leona Good; sisters, Penny Good and Rhonda (Randy) Walters. He is survived by his wife, Donna Nash Good; children, Roger Good, Jr., Alexander (Kayla) Good, Jeanette (Joshua) Malone, Abagail (Migo) Lopez, Christy (Matt) Clemmons, Billy Ray (Ambro) Wallace, Wesley Wallace, Beyza Atik, Nino Svani and Aichurok “Moona” Kyzy; grandchildren, Zoe, Zaiden, Benjamin, Learia, Gracelyn, Axel, Ryker, Leland, Mackenzie, Nevaeh, Solomon, Meliah, Sierra, Clayton, Grayson and Arabella; great grandchildren, Julian & Vivianna; sisters, Deborah (Carl) Arrowwood, Phyllis (Michael) Carter and Diana (Steve) Hoessli; brother, Ronald Good.
