Roger Allen Gray, 51, Spruce Pine, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Mr. Gray was a native of Walker County, but had lived in Spruce Pine for the past ten years.
He was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. He was an electrical engineer.
The family will receive friends on today from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Spruce Pine with Scott Delashaw and Gary Yielding officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. on Friday. Interment will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
Survivors include wife, Kelly Gray, Spruce Pine; children, Kyle, of Spruce Pine, and Joe and wife, Sharon, Jasper; sister, Fran Warren, Jasper; grandchildren, Will, Maddison, and Kaleb Spears; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, John and Lula Gray.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, will be directing.
