Rodney Mason, 62, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Franklin County, AL to David and Bobbie Boren Mason. He was a service worker for mobile home manufacturers for thirty years. He worked until August, 2022 for Tiffin Motor Homes.
Services will be Thursday, March 7, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. J.E. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Mason; two sons, Sandy Holt (Holly) and Eric Smith (Tonia); five grandchildren, Reed Holt, Mason Holt, Dillon Holt, Lauren Smith and John David Smith; two sisters, Marilyn Johnston (Danny) of Red Bay, AL and Sandra Graham (Justin) of Red Bay, AL and one niece, Mason Graham.
Pallbearers will be Wade Barksdale, Davis Rhoades, Harold Rogers, Randy Akins, Johnny Mason and Austin Mason. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Childers, Charlie Lindley and Justin Scott.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 7, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
