Funeral for Rodney Lynn Parker, 46, of Town Creek will be Friday, March 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Lebanon Church of God with Bro. Wayne Dotson and Bro. Billy Jackson officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be today beginning at 4 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Parker, who died Monday, March 3, 2014, was born February 14, 1968, in Lawrence County to Gurnie B. Parker and Audrey Coan Abbott. He was a Corian installer for S&K Fabrication. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, C.O. Abbott; son, Marcus Lynn Parker; and brother, Gwyn Parker.
Survivors include two sons, Joshua Parker (Andrea) of Danville and Tyler Parker of Speake; two sisters, Kathy Kruithoff of Town Creek and Elizabeth Jeffreys of Muscle Shoals; and three granddaughters, Caylee Parker, Addie Parker and Scarlett Parker.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Holcombe, Stacy Kruithoff, Casey Kruithoff, David Jeffreys, Duston Coan and Sunny Givens.
