A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at New Home Baptist Church in Scottsboro, AL. A visitation with family will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Flowers can be delivered to the church between 1:00 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. on Saturday.
Mr. Adkins is survived by his daughter, Savannah Grace Adkins of Scottsboro and his loving family and close friends. He was cared for by his brother and sister the last few months of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray (Roy) Junior Adkins; mother, Doris M. Blizzard Adkins; brother, Charles Ray Adkins; grandfather, Herman (Slick) Adkins, all of Scottsboro; grandmother, Sue Ellen Adkins of Fackler; grandfather, Charles (Bunk) Blizzard of Section; grandmother, Faye Oma Dalton Blizzard of Carnes; and grandmother, Marie Garner Blizzard of Section.
