Popular local musician, Rodney Leon Stapler passed away in Hazel Green, Alabama on Thursday, November 16, 2023.
He was born on September 18th, 1956 in Florida to Luther Eural and Bertie Lou Henshaw Stapler.
Rodney was an incredibly talented musician who could play any instrument he picked up. His favorite was the guitar. He also enjoyed playing online games with his son Christopher. He had an infectious and charismatic personality that will be dearly missed by those who loved him.
Rodney is survived by his son Christopher Stapler and grandson Mitchel Packard; as well as his brothers Dean Stapler and Jimmy Stapler of New Market, and his sister Pam Byrd of Big Cove. He is preceded in death by his parents Luther Eural and Bertie Lou Stapler.
Rodney’s presence will live on in the hearts of those who loved him best: his family and friends who will never forget him or the joy he brought into their lives.
