Rodney James Higginbotham, born September 9, 1949, passed away on February 28, 2024 at his home in Cordova, AL.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Gary Key will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his Parents-Charles J. and Mellardean Higginbotham; Brothers-Gregory, Steve and Jacky Higginbotham; Grandson-Lucas Higginbotham.
He is survived by his Wife-Jennifer; Son-Rodney James Higginbotham, Jr. (Nikki); Daughters-Mandy Uptain (Jason), Aleyah and Akelah Higginbotham; Brother-Terry Higginbotham (Sandra); Sisters-Carolyn Dill, Deborah Stewart (Doug) and Lera Wood; Brothers-in-law-Joe Mosley, Jason Mosley (Tawanda) and Jermain Mosley; Mother-in-law-Joann Butler; 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren; Special Friends-Darrie Mosley, Neil Akins, Jr. and Jimmy Goodwin.
