Rodney Clay Davis

Mr. Rodney Clay Davis of Hazel Green passed away on Monday morning at his home.  He was 51.

Rodney was a gifted plumber and he loved working.  He owned and operated Davis Plumbing.  He loved his truck and he loved keeping his classic John Deere mowers in mint condition.   He was a Christian and part of the baptist faith.   He was proud of his two nieces and cherished spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Walter Davis; His grandparents: Walter & Birdie Billions and Joe & Ruby Davis.

Surviving family members include his mother,  Joan B. Davis;   His brother, Barry Davis;  His two nieces:  Chelsea Davis and Tristian Davis;  His adopted daughter, Miranda Weiland and her two children.

Visitation will be Thursday from 11am until 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Dr. Mike Clark officiating.  Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
