A celebration of life for Rodger Norman Conn, 72, of Corinth, MS is set for 2:00 PM Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Magnolia Funeral Home – South with interment in Wheeler Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Bro. Ralph Culp, Don Dalton, and Terry Cartwright will officiate the service. Born February 12, 1949 to Rodger Jack and Anna Cariece Norman Conn, Rodger passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a teacher for the Alcorn County School District and a member of Tate Baptist Church. He was the former scout leader of Troop 123, Order of Arrow member, Eagle Scout, and United Way volunteer. Those left to honor Rodger’s memory include his wife of 49 years, Jan Conn; son, Rodger Will Conn (Katie); grandchildren, Mattie Magers Conn and Sawyer Richey; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodger Jack and Anna Cariece Norman Conn. Pallbearers include William Butler, Keith Nichols, Don Dalton, Terry Payne, Dr. Osvaldo Hans, Terry Cartwright, and Mike Burns. In lieu of flowers, the family request donation be made to Gideon’s. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Rodger Norman Conn.
