Roderick Kane Ayers, age 57 of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, burial will be at Pocahontas Baptist Cemetery. Randy Jones and Justin McCullar will officiate.
Mr. Ayers was preceded in death by his Father-Elbert Ayers, Jr.; Mother-Margaret Stubbe; Brother-Timothy Ayers.
He is survived by his Sister-Georgann McCullar (Justin); Brother-Michael Ayers (Marilyn); 3 nephews; 2 nieces; 2 great nieces; 1 great nephew; a host of cousins and special friends-J.W., Carolyn and Jessie Carrell.
Pallbearers will be Robert Batchelor, Ricky Ayers, Dave McCullar, Justin Jones, Bobby Ayers, Mitch Webb and Charlie Thompson.
