  Roberta Rose White FielderRoberta Rose Fielder departed this life on Monday, January 13, 2020, at the age of 84 years, 1 month, and 9 days. She was born in Savannah, Tennessee on December 4, 1935, the daughter of the late Elvin “Eb” and Virgie Mae Rose.

Roberta had worked for Brown Shoe Company as an inspector. She had also worked for Cherry’s Truck Stop, took care of the elderly in their homes, and worked as a nurse at Hardin Medical Center in the 50’s. She attended White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Roberta loved life, going to Bingo, and being with her friends. Her favorite thing to say was “I ain’t got time for this”.

She is survived by her children, Steve White and his wife Debra, Priscilla Franks and her husband Rick, Sheila Benson, and Nickey White and his wife Linda; six grandsons; two granddaughters; 17 great grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Rose, Jerry Rose, Jimmy Rose, Larry Rose, and Ronnie Rose; sisters, Opal Jerrolds, Virginia Qualls, Jackie Smith, and Janie Spurgeon.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Earl White; her second husband, James Lynn Fielder; and a great grandchild, Laken Benson.
