Robert William Hughes, 73, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. Mr. Hughes was a native of Odgensburg, NY and a resident of Madison County since 1966. He was a Chief Engineer with NASA for 43 years and a member of Faith Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife: Pamela Hughes; three sons: William David Hughes, James Robert Hughes, and Steven Douglas Hughes; three brothers: Richard Hughes, Douglas Hughes, and Gregory Hughes; three sisters: Judy Shaddix, Barbara Watenpool, and Mary Stone; and three grandsons: Audrey Elise Hughes, William Anders Hughes, and David Matthew Hughes.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Memorial donations may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church or Hospice Family Care.
