Mr. Robert Wayne “Bob” Godsey, II, age 30, of Arley, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, August 9th, 2016, at Walker Baptist Medical Center, in Jasper, Alabama.
Visitation, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m., Thursday, August 11th, 2016, at Pleasant Hill #2 Church. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 12th, at Pleasant Hill #2 Church. Alvis Treece officiating. Burial in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Godsey was born July 17th, 1986, in Marion County, Alabama, to Robert Wayne Godsey and Lydia Chambers Godsey.
He is survived by his parents, Robert Wayne and Lydia Chambers Godsey; sister, Rashea Inez Godsey; brother, Jason Godsey; girlfriend, Tonya Thacker; nephews, Rylee and Tyla Godsey; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eleanor Hood; grandfather, Inas Godsey; grandmother, Coralee Godsey; great-grandfather, Elmer Chambers; and great-grandmother, Iris Chambers.
