Robert Taylor Roseberry, Jr., 75, of Ardmore, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Elk River Health and Nursing Center in Ardmore, Tenneessee.
Mr. Roseberry spent 37 years in the Ardmore area where he was of the Baptist faith. In his free time, he enjoyed farming, watching western movies, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. After serving in Vietnam in the United States Army, Robert would go on to advocate for the Veterans Affairs of Tenneessee. Upon leaving the Army, Robert and Della enjoyed time together over-the-road trucking. Robert always had a very loving heart. He would always help anyone. Giving back to the community was something that he strongly believed in.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Taylor Roseberry, Sr. and Dorothy Blanche Roseberry, five sisters: Elizabeth North, Jessie Shkuratoff, Mildred Carol, Marion Amory, and Debbie Schwab, as well as one brother, James Roseberry.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Della Roseberry, two brothers, William Roseberry and Fred (Crystal) Roseberry, his honorary daughter, Michelle Cardin, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Visitation will be held for Mr. Roseberry at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service is scheduled to begin immediately after visitation with service time beginning at 7:00 PM.
