Robert Norris Bolton, 98, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at his residence. He was born to Robert Nelson and Emma Powers Bolton and was a machine operator for thirty years. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion in Red Bay, AL.
The family will have graveside services at a later date. Burial will be in Berry Cemetery, Red Bay, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are eight children – Freddie Norris Bolton (Lynn) Red Bay, AL, Charlotte Eaton, Belmont, MS, Dennis Michael Bolton (Karen) of Wisconsin, Ricky Nelson Bolton of Louisiana, David Allen Bolton (Betty) Spring, TX, Jeffrey Quinn Bolton, Belmont, MS, John Robert Bolton (Dorothy) Gurnee, IL and Steven Eric Bolton (Sue) Burlington, WI; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother – Wilbert Bolton, Red Bay, AL and one sister – Frauline Winters of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Bolton, a son, Timothy Wayne Bolton and his parents.
