Robert “Morgan” Blake was born May 21, 1978. He is the son of the late Robert F Blake Jr, and Virginia (Gin’a ) Blake. Morgan is a graduate of Haleyville High School. After high school he spent some time at college but decided he was ready to work. He has worked on the railroad, mines, and construction. He spent a large portion of his time working on gas pipe line construction in Texas. Morgan returned to Haleyville a few years ago, so that his children could grow up in the town he loved. Morgan was an avid outdoorsman. If he was not with his children, you would find him hunting.
Morgan is survived by his wife, Kristy Lemoine Blake. Daughter Piper Ann Blake. Step-son’s Alex and Noah Littleton. Mother Gin’a Blake and his sister Jessica Hallmark (Chris),and one niece Emma Glenn Hallmark. He is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert F Blake, Jr. His grand-parents Dr Robert F Blake Sr and Sara, Williams Samuel Johnson and Mary.
Services were held Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Haleyville Methodist Church.
