Robert Max Schmidt, 84, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tenn. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Shackelford Chapel with burial in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tenn.
