Robert Martin Christl, Sr.
September 3, 1934 – December 25, 2022
Robert was born on September 3, 1934, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Carolyn (Jowanavitz) and Martin Christl. He died on Dec 25, 2022, in Huntsville, Alabama. He married Dolores (Cole) in Jan 1954 while serving in the US Marines and completed 1 tour in Korea. For most of his career he worked for JC Penney in Washington, Hawaii and California and retired in 1980. He spent most of his retirement in Kasilof, Alaska until moving to Huntsville in ~2015. His wife preceded him in death in January 2011. He is survived by his three children, Barbara (Sharpe), Robert Jr and Mark; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. His final resting place will be alongside his wife in the Kasilof Cemetery.
