Robert Marion “Jack” Wright, age 79 of Jasper, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
He enjoyed going on adventures with his wife Barbara, attending church at West Walker Church of Christ and spending time with family and friends. When Jack wasn’t attending church or spending time with family you could find him either catching fish or frying fish with the grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be Midway Church of Cemetery. Brian Richardson will officiate.
Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his Wife-Phyliss “Rickey” Wright; Daughter-Loretta D. Howton; Parents-Mildred and Eugene Wright; Sister-Elisa Wright; Brother-Jesse Wright.
He is survived by his Wife of 30 years-Barbara Wright; Daughters-Louise Gaddy (Joel), Laurie Tubbs (Jo Jo), Tammy Whitfield and Beckie Gianetti; Grandchildren-Holly Rice (Chad), Thomas Wright (Tommy), Erika Wright (Timothy), Mildred Wright (Hope), Raechel Hunt (Bryan), Angela Roegner (Michael), Amber Howton, Felicia Willcutt, Alex Tubbs (McKenzie), Zachary Walker (Abigail), Chloeey Jackson, Tori Aeby and JP Whitfield; 21 Great Grandchildren; Sister-Vera Burke; Host of nieces and nephews.
